Mini Strategy Engine is a modular, confirmation-based trading EA for MetaTrader 5. Instead of locking you into one fixed strategy, it gives you a bank of eight independent indicators that you switch on, off, or assign a role in the decision — then it only fires a trade once your own rules for agreement are actually met.

Built for traders who already know which indicators they trust and want a rules engine that combines them exactly the way they would by hand — without writing a line of MQL5.

KEY FEATURES

Confirmation-Based Decision Engine

• Every indicator is set to Disabled, Required, or Optional — independently, per indicator
• Required indicators must all agree with a trade direction or that direction is blocked outright — use these as trend filters (e.g. EMA200)
• Optional indicators are tallied against a configurable Minimum Confirmations count once every Required indicator agrees
• Optional "Net Majority" rule blocks entries outright when Buy and Sell qualify at the same time, instead of guessing which side to take
• Example: EMA200 = Required (trend state), RSI / MACD / Bollinger = Optional, Minimum Confirmations = 2 → a BUY only fires when price is above EMA200 and at least 2 of the 3 optional indicators also agree BUY

Eight Independent Indicators, Each With Its Own Signal Mode

• EMA Cross — configurable fast/slow periods and MA method, Cross-Event or Trend-State mode
• SMA — single-period trend filter, Cross-Event or Trend-State mode
• ADX — minimum trend-strength threshold
• RSI — Reversal (cross back through OB/OS), Trend (>50=buy / <50=sell), or Zone mode (Oversold=buy / Overbought=sell)
• MACD — Cross, Histogram-sign, or Zero-Line mode
• Stochastic — Reversal mode (%K/%D cross at extremes) or Trend mode (%K above/below 50)
• CCI — Reversal (cross back through OB/OS), Trend (>0=buy / <0=sell), or Zone mode (Oversold=buy / Overbought=sell)
• Bollinger Bands — Reversion (fade the bands), Breakout, or Trend mode (price vs. middle band)
• ATR — pure volatility gate; never votes on direction, but can block all new entries below a minimum ATR

Genuine Multi-Timeframe Confirmation

• Every indicator has its own independent Timeframe input — mix an H4 trend filter with M15 entry triggers in the same instance
• Signals re-evaluate once per closed bar of the fastest active timeframe, so a lower-timeframe indicator is never starved of updates just because the chart is showing a higher one

Trade Management

• Fixed Lot or auto-calculated Risk % of balance position sizing
• Configurable Stop Loss / Take Profit in points, with maximum spread and slippage protection
• Break-even: triggers at a configurable points-profit threshold, with a points-based offset beyond entry
• Trailing Stop: configurable start distance, trail distance, and step size, applied after break-even has had its say
• One Position Only or Multiple Positions mode (with a Max Open Trades cap)
• Close-on-opposite-signal: automatically closes an open position if a strong opposite signal appears

On-Chart Control Panel

• Draggable, minimizable panel with its own close control to fully unload the EA from the chart
• One-click manual BUY / SELL, independent of the automated engine
• CloseBuy / CloseSell / CloseAll buttons for manual position management at any time
• Auto-Trading toggle right in the panel header — flip to manual-only mode without touching inputs or reloading the EA
• Live SIGNALS section showing every active indicator's current vote (Buy / Sell / Neutral), color-coded per row
